Lotus's world is deep and challenging. It will captivate the imagination and stoke the fires of exploration.
Greetings folks, Just stumbled into this campaign today, very interesting.
Few questions if that’s ok
Firstly, I’m completely new to 3d printing (be nice 😀 ). super new, lol, my 1st printer should be arriving at my house sometime in the next week or so. (yep, it’s finally time…), maybe why I stumbled into this 🙂
even being completely clueless, the idea of a $1 castle model to play with seemed like too good to pass on, like, I mean, how bad could it possibly go, right? lmao
From what I’ve read, it appears that all these work plenty fine with FDM printers? (I’ve an FDM coming, but I always think resin or nothing when it comes to this stuff, lots of “resin works, fdm, eh, maybe, try it”).
Presuming that FDM is workable, I’ve no idea about scaling up/down for gaming size how the detail might change vs resin etc, is there anything “fancy” you’d want to set up for the printer? Not sure if that even makes sense, I guess my question more simply is does the printer need to be anything special? or certain features or size or anything like that?
I feel like a lot of this probably seems like idiocy to someone with 5 printers next to them, but we all start somewhere 😛
(and I’ve learned a lot from little campaigns like these from folks (and slowly accumulated a miniscule stl collection, lol))
Thank you in advance for any and all answers, advice, assistance or the like.
If anything I’ve asked doesn’t make sense or isn’t phrased well etc, please just let me know, I’m as clueless with the lingo as I am how to use slicer software at the moment (gimme a week or so and that’ll change, hah), ha
